Get your crimson pucker to stay put with these three easy tips!

1. Start with a smooth surface. Gently exfoliate your lips with a scrub like LUSH Sweet Lips Lip Scrub ($9) or simply rub a wet toothbrush against your lips to banish dryness. Finish with a primer that adds moisture to your lips and fills in any fine lines, like 3 Lab Perfect Lips ($40).

2. Lay down the foundation. Layering is a makeup trick used to ensure that it lasts the day long. Before you apply your lip color, grab a lip pencil in a similar shade, and use it to trace the outer perimeter of the lips. Then gently fill in between the lines.
